Composition: has studied with Dan Forrest, Joan Pinkston. Master’s Degree in composition (Bob Jones University, 2010–in progress). Frequently commissioned to write works in multiple genres, including song cycles, solo instrumental works, and pieces for chamber ensembles. Recent commissions include a sonata for double bass and a song cycle on Muriel Rukeyser’s Iris. Future plans include doctoral work.
