A murderous mistress, a tempestuous gypsy slain, and an eligible bachelor bearing a silver rose for a lucky mistress. No, you’re not watching The Bachelor or Cougartown . . . this is opera at its best! Conductor Laureate Carmon DeLeone conducts a program of operatic works for orchestra.

From the jealous and love obsessed characters of these operas, to the melodramatic film music of Legrand, these works will have you begging for the night’s drama and intrigue to continue.

Single tickets for the Saturday concert series at Lincoln-Way North Performing Arts Center (November through May) range from $30-$50 for adults; $15 for children (18 & under) and students (with valid ID). All Lincoln-Way students may attend the IPO concerts for free with valid ID and subject to availability on the night of the concert.
