The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's 2015-2016 season marks the 120th anniversary of its first concert. To celebrate this milestone, the Pittsburgh Symphony will perform a commemorative concert exactly 120 years to the day of the first Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performance at Carnegie Music Hall under the baton of Music Director Manfred Honeck. The concert will feature significant pieces from throughout the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's 120-year history, including works performed at the first concert in 1896.
