In partnership with the San Diego Art Institute, Art of Elan presents The Ecology of Sound: A Collective Exploration of 'The Language of Things,' a concert event that features world premiere compositions and a moderated artists talk. This special collaboration is tied to Roberto Romero Molina's innovative sound installation and is the culminating event in Art of Élan’s fourth annual Young Artists in Harmony apprenticeship program in partnership with A Reason to Survive (ARTS). The event will begin with a pre-concert panel at 6:15pm, followed a concert from 7-8pm, and exhibition viewing 8-9pm.

The musical compositions of Young Artists in Harmony students will be premiered publicly alongside works by alumni Diego Rodriguez and Deejay Rich, as well as the world premiere of "Petal by Petal, Leaf by Leaf," written for flute, viola and harp by esteemed UCSD composer Lei Liang.
