Timeless impressions

“Music,” said Claude Debussy, “must be as boundless as the wind, the sky, the sea…” The symphonic waves of La Mer suggest more than the tumult of the sea. Here was the new language of musical impressionism. Also, the Mozart Violin Concerto cycle continues as Gil Shaham plays the delightful “Turkish” Concerto. “Resplendent,” raves the Los Angeles Times of Gil Shaham. “The performance of a lifetime.”
