Biography
Founded in 1975 as a volunteer community orchestra, the Carmel Symphony has grown into a full 85-member orchestra made up of both professional and volunteer musicians. As of February 2011, the Carmel Symphony is the resident orchestra of the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts.

Our new home, the Palladium, is a 1,600 seat, state-of-the-art, acoustically perfect concert hall in Carmel, Indiana. Please visit thecenterfortheperformingarts.com or call 888.843.3800 for tickets and information.

In addition to creative and artistically excellent performances, the Carmel Symphony values and maintains a strong educational presence in the community. The CSO believes that educating our community musically both promotes and sustains cultural growth – even for the youngest of listeners. Whether “Classical” or “Pops,” the Carmel Symphony aims to perform in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
