Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned chorus singing choral masterworks with a full professional orchestra and soloists. We are in Elmhurst, Illinois, less than 20 miles west of downtown Chicago.

We perform two major concerts each year, early December and late April, at beautiful (and acoustically wonderful) Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College, in Chicago's western suburbs.

Past concerts have included Requiems by Mozart and Brahms, Respighi Laud to the Nativity, and masses and choral-orchestral works by Haydn, Dvorak, Morten Lauridsen, and Karl Jenkins, plus opera excerpts.

We also have a late February/early March concert of selections from lighter classical, musicals, and Great American Songbook, featuring solos and small ensembles from within the chorus.

We appear occasionally at special events in Elmhurst.

Our skilled singers come from all over the Chicago metro area.  We have been based at Elmhurst College since our founding in 1952.
