Arpeggione Kammerorchester has committed itself to making music of the highest artistry, performing both classical and contemporary works with the same attention to detail and devotion to musicality. Arpeggione enchants and energizes its audiences with the quality of its sound. Its musicians, who come from all over the world, perform with heartfelt devotion and invigorating virtuosity. Under the artistic direction of the violist Irakli Gogibedaschwili, Arpeggione has celebrated the 20th year of its founding in 2010.
In March 2011, Robert Bokor has been appointed the new Chief Conductor of the Arpeggione Kammerorchester.
Since its beginnings this orchestra has played more than 600 concerts in many parts of the world, including Europe, the USA, Central and South America, Brazil, Russia and Israel. Under the direction of such fine conductors as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Alexander Rudin, Saulius Sondeckis, Howard Griffiths, Kirill Petrenko, Frank Cramer, Lev Markiz, Uros Lajovic, Vakhtang Jordania, C. A. Bünte, Manfred Mayrhofer, Andreas Spörri and Robert Bokor, Arpeggione has performed in the renowned music festivals of Europe and America. Arpeggione continues to perform in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, in the Tonhalle Zurich, in Santa Cecilia in Rom, the Verdi Hall in Milan, the Great Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatorium. This year Arpeggione will be performing several concerts under the direction of M° Vladimir Ashkenazy. 
Arpeggione collaborates regularly with internationally renowned soloists such as Jeremy Menuhin, Rudolf Kehrer, Jean-François Antonioli, Konstantin Lifschitz, Denys Proshayev, Dang Thai Son (Piano), Markus Groh, Lisa Batiashvili, Isabelle van Keulen, Benjamin Schmid, Patricia Kopatchinskaya, Dimitri Sitkowetzky, Vadim Repin, Alexander Brussilowsky, Lydia Baich, Barnabás Kelemen, Sergej Krylov, Janine Jansen, Robert Bokor (Violin), Natalia Gutman, Alexander Rudin, Ivan Monighetti (Cello), Evelyn Glennie, Martin Grubinger (Percussion), Andras Adorian (Flute), Marielle Nordmann (Harp), Eva Lind, Iwona Hossa (Soprano), Natela Nicoli (Mezzosoprano), Paata Burchulatze, Maurizio Pikoni (Bariton), Maurice André, Bernard Soustrot, Reinhold Friedrich, Gabor Boldozky (Trumpet), Ab Koster, Hermann Baumann (French Horn), Eduard Brunner, Dimitri Ashkenazy (Clarinet), François Leleux (Oboe) and Marco Postinghel (Bassoon).

Arpeggione is based in the Renaissance palace of the city of Hohenems, Austria. With its lovely atmosphere and excellent acoustics this palace offers Arpeggione the ideal setting for its subscription concerts. Founded by the violist Irakli Gogibedaschwili to promote chamber music and to perform and expand the traditional repertoire, Arpeggione also offers young musicians from all over Europe an opportunity to play with an outstanding orchestra before a large audience. . In its repertoire Arpeggione has more than 100 different programs and has premiered many works, some of which were composed especially for Arpeggione by talented young composers. An interesting aside: last summer Arpeggione was the first chamber orchestra to perform in Haiti in 55 years.

Arpeggione has produced numerous CDs. Such radio and TV stations as ORF, SFR, DRS, the Bayerischer Rundfunk, Radio Netherlands, Radio Slowenia and NBC have broadcast concert performances of Arpeggione and interviews with its members.

The individual members of the chamber orchestra are themselves excellent musicians and are also engaged as soloists, in quartets and in teaching and furthering young musicians.
