Olivier Messiaen, Composer
(1908-1992). French composer, performer, teacher. Olivier Messiaen studied at the Paris Conservatoire (1919-30) with Dukas, Dupré and others, and taught there from 1941-78 while also serving as organist of La Trinité in Paris (1931-92).
