The Soul of Elégiaque was a riveting experience from start to finish. Hands down, the best Tchaikovsky Piano Trio I have ever heard. It was a privilege and musical life highlight to hear this performed live by Qian Zhou (violin), Misha Quint (cello) and Inesa Sinkevych (piano).

Glinka’s "Trio pathétique" was superb with solos played to perfection. I am wishing for a recording by this trio.

Ysaÿe's "Poème élégiaque, Op. 12” was pure and soaring intensity.

Dominick Argento's song cycle, "To be Sung Upon the Water" was a contemplative and meditative journey traveled with Stephen Ng (tenor), Howard Klug (clarinet) and Inesa Sinkevych (piano).

Perfect repertoire choices performed brilliantly made this an evening not soon if ever to be forgotten.

I am looking forward to the next concert in the InterHarmony International Music Festival Series on February 6, 2015.
