Violinist Midori breaks E-string twice and swaps 2 violins

In this video 14 years old world-class virtuoso violinist Midori performs the 5th movement of Bernstein's Serenade after Plato's Symposium. However she broke accidentally the E string and she was quickly passed the concermaster's fiddle. But then she broke again the E string and she rapidly took the violin of the associate concertmaster, without missing a beat. A true Virtuoso ! Video from her debut at Tanglewood with the Boston Symphony Orchestra / 1985.
