Travis Wammack has wowed guitar lovers ever since recording the hit instrumental "Scratchy" in Memphis in 1964 at age 16. Here he pays tribute to another guitar hero who lived in Memphis for a time: Joe Walsh - with this version of "Rocky Mountain Way". Drummer J. M. Van Eaton also made hits as a teenager as a member of the band that backed Jerry Lee Lewis for his most famous recordings at Sun Records. This appearance with The Rockin Sunabillies on July 30, 2010 was part of a "Tribute to the Birthplace of Rock & Roll" on the anniversary of Elvis Presley's legendary debut performance in 1954 when he "stole the show" from Slim Whitman on this same stage. The Overton Park Shell in Memphis was fully renovated in 2008 to become the Levitt Shell where music history continues to be made and honored.
