Jimmy Crosthwait, long-time friend & collaborator of Jim Dickinson, plays his "zen chimes" & other instruments with Memphis sax great Jim Spake, Lucero's John Stubblefield on bass and Jessica Jones also on "zen chimes" in a meditative jam paying tribute to Dickinson. Thus began the First Jim Dickinson Memorial Folk Festival at the Levitt Shell in Overton Park, Memphis September 21, 2009 just a month after Jim died. Dickinson & Crosthwait played the Shell many times through the years with their group Mud Boy and the Neutrons and were part of the original Country Blues Festivals at the Shell in the '60s.
