This annual event brings emerging composers from around the country to NYC, giving them the full force of American Composers Orchestra to workshop their orchestral works, and giving audiences the chance to witness the creation of new, diverse orchestral music. Each year, one composer is chosen to receive the $15k Underwood Commission for a new work to be premiered by ACO.
