JoAnn Falletta prepares to celebrate Women's History Month 2019 with a concert starring leading violinist Sarah Chang and featuring a piece by Germaine Tailleferre, an acclaimed early 20th-century female composer. The concert also features a further exploration of the works of Florent Schmitt with mezzo-soprano Susan Platts and the Buffalo Girlchoir. These concerts are part of the M&T Bank Classics Series and take place at Kleinhans Music Hall on Saturday, March 2 at 8 PM and Sunday, March 3 at 2:30 PM. You can hear directly from the artists in Musically Speaking, taking place an hour prior to each concert and hosted by JoAnn Falletta. Tickets are available at bpo.org or by calling (716) 885-5000.
