Haydn's 'The Joke' played by the Sydney Symphony Fellows
Seeded by sydneysymphony on 3 Aug 2020
Author: Sydney Symphony Orchestra
Known for his sense of humour and cheek, Hadyn's string quartet in E flat earned itself the nickname 'The Joke' thanks to all the false endings riddled through the fourth movement. Featuring our 2020/21 Fellows: Tim Yu and Brian Hong playing violin, Dana Lee playing viola and Miles Mullin-Chivers playing cello. Enjoy our Fellows jovial performance of the first movement of 'The Joke'. Special thanks to Brian Hong for video capture.
