Opera Delaware is one of the oldest and most respected professional opera companies in the United States. But they are more than just great opera. This season kicks off with The Barber of Seville, Rossinis madcap prequel to last seasons The Marriage of Figaro. This popular offering will have you singing the famous tunes and laughing at the absurd twists of plot every step of the way. The Barber of Seville will be performed at the Grand Opera House November 1st 6th and 7th. Opera Delawares rehearsal space on the Christina Riverfront will be the location for the studio Series. These Cabaret style performances will feature the sounds of your favorite arias and scenes being presented up close and personal by the best vocal talent the region has to offer. March 5th, 6th and 7th. High drama closes the season with the Grand Opera House performance of Puccinis Tosca.
