In the 21st Century, as an artist, you must be relatable; it is the most valuable asset for an artist. Also, I’m very active on social media, and noticed the difference once I began connecting with people outside of the concert hall. My audiences are enthusiastic, younger, and also young at heart. If you look at social media in general, there is a lot of hate on the Internet—even in classical music.
